Silvio likes the full-month calendar. Here it is dropped into the real Daily Operations Board, two ways: calendar on the left as a column, and calendar across the top. Click a day, the board date follows. Seats-left shown on each calendar day (green seats, red full, blank no tours).
The calendar lives as a fixed left column; the board fills the rest. Always see the whole month, board never loses vertical space to a date bar. Best on wide desktop.
The month sits above the board full-width, then the board. Familiar top-down reading, but the calendar eats vertical space before you reach the tours. Better when the board itself is narrow / on a tablet.
